So I work in the software industry and this blog is going to record my daily life with an emphasis on what happens in my office.

I work in a start up - i.e. a small company of, right now, 12 people trying to get product out the door. We have no funding so everythingis done on the cheap. I don't want to say too much in case it identifies me but more importantly my company! Sorry. Bear with me though as I hope that as I reveal the daily goings on here it will keep your interest.

Anway, there's this asshole. He runs engineering and thinks he's God's gift to humanity. He has an ego the size of the continent of Africa and doesn't care who knows it! He has seen everything, done everything (and continues to do everything), and thinks everyone else on this planet is as consequential as the hair on a gnat's scrotum. If he doesn't like something or disagrees with a request he'll ignore it or do something completely different from what was requested. He will then claim he never received the request.

Do you know someone like this?

Oh, and he has Tourettes.
